Peter Hess® Sound Relaxation Coaching
More and more people are longing for relaxation, peace, stillness, and moments of inner reflection amidst the hectic pace of daily life. Helping individuals reconnect with themselves, listen to their inner voice, and feel healthy and comfortable in their own bodies and lives—this is where we aim to offer meaningful guidance and support. Especially at a time when public health services are increasingly limited, this support is becoming ever more important.
These are all essential aspects of holistic health and serve as a foundation for personal growth. However, excessive or chronic stress often stands in the way of exactly that for many people. As a Sound Relaxation Coach, you will learn to meet people where they are and offer a wide range of impulses for positive change in their lives. You will gain well-grounded knowledge about the causes of stress, stress reactions, and their long-term consequences on a biological, psychological, and social level. You will learn how to use sound to support a healthy work-life balance. Other stress-reduction techniques will also be introduced, and you will learn how to combine them effectively with sound massage.
Additionally, you will be introduced to physical and emotional core functions, pathological symptoms, and their root causes, ensuring that you always work responsibly and safely. With this theoretical foundation, you’ll be equipped to build a network with professionals from the fields of medicine, therapy, and healthcare. By the end of your training, you will have developed a diverse set of offerings for both individual clients and a wide range of institutions.
From one-on-one sessions to group work and self-help facilitation, your services will cover a broad spectrum. You can professionally offer sound-based relaxation and preventive health care in the following settings:
- Your own practice as a Sound Relaxation Coach
- Hotels and wellness centers
- Tourist and holiday destinations
- Corporate health promotion programs
- Medical or rehabilitation practices
- Community colleges and other educational institutions
- Clubs, sports centers, or fitness studios
- Beauty salons or spas
- Saunas and public baths
Between seminars, you will gain practical experience and deepen your knowledge through self-study of the course materials.
In the final third of your training, you will plan a project, which you will implement and reflect upon. The results will be presented during the final seminar. Specific details will be discussed during the course of the training.
At the end of the training, you will receive a certificate from the Peter Hess® Institute listing all the seminars you have attended. Upon completion, you are entitled to use the professional title:

If you have attended one or both of these elective seminars and have also completed the course “Fundamentals of Stress & Relaxation – Overview of Relaxation Techniques,” you can apply to receive the following certificates from the PHI:

The advanced training includes the extended training in the Peter Hess® Sound Massage with a certificate from the European Association, 10 specialized seminars, as well as one supervision and one final weekend seminar. Depending on the elective seminars booked, the total training comprises between 316 and 332 hours, plus time for self-study of the scripts and practical application (transfer).
